Central Botanical Garden in Kyiv is a mecca for admirers of lilacs and other natural wonders in bloom

Recently, 30 Oriental Cherry trees were brought from Japan to Kiev’s Botanical Garden.

The trees,  known in Japanese as ‘Sakura’ are believed to possess medicinal properties, but certainly being among the blossoming Sakura trees in spring will cleanse your spirit and uplift your soul.

So come spring, Kyivans and visitors alike will have the opportunity of watching our Sakura Cherry trees bloom in all their glory.

Other great attractions of the Botanical Gardens in spring are blooming magnolias and lilacs. Lilacs and magnolias in full blossom are a great sight to behold. In autumn, the Botanical Garden is alive with colors and fragrances and even in the dead of winter, a visit to the Greenhouses will transport you to the rich colors and scents of tropical lands.
